Iz received a B.A. in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry and a minor in English from Colby College in 2022. Prior to joining Brown as a student in the Therapeutic Sciences Graduate Program, they conducted research in biophysical chemistry at Colby College and the University of Michigan. They are co-mentored by Prof. Rubenstein and Prof. Lisi.
