My research interests lie at the intersection of condensed matter physics, quantum chemistry and high performance computing. Currently, I investigate electronic and magnetic properties of correlated 2D materials and magnetic materials using Quantum Monte Carlo and density functional theory approaches and have been supported by the NASA Rhode Island Space Grant and the DOE Office of Science Graduate Research program.
