Congratulations to Senior Faith Kim for Receiving the Clapp Prize for Outstanding Thesis!

Congratulations to Senior Chemistry concentrator Faith Kim for receiving the Clapp Prize for Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis in Chemistry for her thesis entitled “Toward the Quantum Computation of Covalent Kinase Inhibitors: The Electronic Structure of Cysteine-Based Inhibitor Reaction Pathways.” Faith’s thesis advances our work aiming to use quantum computers and state-of-the-art machine learning to further understand the biochemistry of kinase inhibitors.

Great work Faith! Well-deserved!
